Maranon Capital is seeking investment associates with strong analytical skills, a high level of business curiosity and a track record of leadership and achievement.

Responsibilities:

• Review new transactions with the firm’s senior investment professionals;
• Manage the transaction diligence and underwriting process;
• Compose investment committee approval documents; perform valuation analysis; develop complex financial models;
• Monitor portfolio company performance;
• Communicate with private equity sponsors, investment banks, due diligence providers and other third parties relevant to transaction underwriting and portfolio monitoring

Requirements:

• At least two years of professional experience (private equity, investment banking, senior cash flow or mezzanine debt lending experience is a plus);
• Solid financial statement analysis, financial modeling and valuation skills;
• Strong interpersonal skills and exceptional communication capabilities;
• Ability to work as a member of a small team handling a wide range of responsibilities.
