Maranon Capital, L.P. is pleased to announce two promotions effective  January 1, 2014 as well as a new addition to its team.

Rommel Garcia has been promoted from Vice President to Principal.  In this role he is responsible for evaluating new business opportunities along with transaction execution, and portfolio management.  Rommel joined Maranon in 2008 as an Associate.

Angelica Mariscal has been promoted from Associate to Vice President of Marketing.  Angelica is responsible for developing and executing Maranon’s branding and communication strategies as well as market research and investor reporting.  Angelica joined Maranon in 2008.

Chad Kohorst has joined Maranon as a Senior Fund Accountant.  Chad is responsible for financial planning, analysis and reporting.  Prior to joining Maranon, he was with Morgan Stanley and KPMG LLP.  Chad received both an M.S. as well as a B.B.A. in Accountancy from the University of Notre Dame and is a Certified Public Accountant.
