Maranon Capital is seeking Portfolio Analysts with exceptional critical thinking, interpersonal skills and a track record of achievement.

Responsibilities: 

• Monitor Maranon’s investment portfolio
• Review and analyze portfolio company financial statements, business trends, loan covenants and other credit factors
• Coordinate the portfolio review process including the preparation of financial updates and quarterly valuation materials
• Participate in new credit underwriting and amendment approval process

Requirements:

• One to five years of relevant industry experience with a preferred background in middle market credit underwriting and/or portfolio management (formal credit training is preferred)
• Proficiency in financial statement analysis and projection modeling
• Demonstrated knowledge of loan terms and structures, credit and compliance documentation
• Outstanding analytical skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
• Strong interpersonal skills and exceptional communication capabilities
• Ability to work as a member of a small team handling a wide range of responsibilities
