Laura Albrecht has been named as one of Mergers & Acquisitions 2019 Most Influential Women in Mid-Market M&A. Mergers & Acquisitions lists 36 leaders which are outstanding dealmakers both inside and outside of their firms.
Laura Albrecht is an accomplished principal investor with over 20 years of experience in middle market credit, private equity and fund investing. She is a Managing Director and Partner at Maranon Capital, L.P. where she is a senior investment professional overseeing the firm’s investment underwriting and portfolio management activity. She is also a member of Maranon’s Valuation Committee.
Albrecht’s contributions have been key to the firm’s successes. On the investment front, she has either led or been a key part of the team on more than 50 transactions totaling over $1 billion of commitments to facilitate middle market buyouts, recapitalizations and refinancings. She also plays a key role in fostering Maranon’s culture and talent development. She has been a champion for increasing gender and racial diversity.
